i think there is merit in engaging gus like Solz and Tony . these guys have been and are playing regular and high level hard cricket that are local players are not getting . I think we should engage these guys even if its over a short period for the world cup just like its done for soccer . In soccer we have foriegn based internationals who should raise the bar for the national team .

Who cares, if he's good enough he gets in. Just because current players have been in Zimbabwe franchise system and playing incountry doesn't give them automatic rite to be picked first(well perhaps i am wrong as it seems to be ZC obnoxious,arrogant and ignorant policy-at the moment) on the basis that they have suffered the franchise system and lack of funds diligently . Fairness is for kindergarden!

This cretin attitude that you stayed in Zim and played in Zim means you are bumped up the pecking ladder is puerile and only in place in order for the ZC bullies to "control" the players and the salary expectation.

To not choose from outside the country, players that are getting better quality experience then the local set up is pure negligence and terrible leadership by the ZC selectors. In fact some of us die hard fans would almost call it treason!
