Upcoming Fixtures

I can't see Ireland agreeing to play Zimbabwe to be honest. I reckon, if it does go ahead, it will be 3 ODI's between Ireland and Kenya followed by 3 ODI's between Kenya and Zimbabwe.

Don't know about that. The Irish government hasn't been as outspoken as the British on the Zim issue. There would be problems with Zim playing here (especially since Ireland play the majority of internationals in Belfast, so the UK travel ban would apply); there's no stomach for a tour to Zimbabwe; but a series on neutral ground? I doubt there'd be any problems. The tri-series has been mooted for a while now, and there have been no grumbles from the Irish government about it that I'm aware of...

With both my Ireland and Zimbabwe hats on, I'm glad this series is finally going ahead. A chance for both teams to prove a few points to the rest of the world - looking forward to seeing which one steps up and takes the opportunity.

For what it's worth, on current form Kenya are going to come bottom, I think...

The big question is, will it be televised? The bigger question is, how will we be able to watch it? In Kenya, I think Cricinfo will have coverage, but it would be nice to have a stream (or at least radio commentary, is that likely from Kenya?).

FWIW, I think Zimbabwe will win, Ireland to come second, Kenya last.

i back us to beat kenya fairly easily but ireland have some good players

paricularly if morgan, o brian, rankin, and poterfield play

I thought Kenya had a deal with Nimbus?

This was certainly unexpected... hopefully at least some of the games (at least the Pak and SL games) will be televised :)
