Well with the guys at our disposal I think what we can hope for is for Mire to come out guns blazing and knock 60/70 runs off that total in quick time then the other guys can literally be as defensive as possible and still get us home

We could have at least hoped for all that if the target was around 350-380. This is now realistically unreachable for the best of teams. I just hope for a better batting show than the first dig.

Of course, there is a better chance of seeing a Williams 70 odd if we are 44/5 or something as compared to when we are at 200/3. But here's hoping...

I read somewhere that Mashinge has a one match ban?

Cremer may be expensive but he takes wickets. Another 7 wickets in this game so far.

For me he just bowls that one bad ball an over which, sadly, excludes him from the world class category in test cricket, for now.

Having said that, leg spin is the hardest art to master.

Yes well done although they got too many in second innings.

The pitch seems dead now so I’d tell the boys just to bat time don’t worry about anything wide of the stumps.

Will be hard though considering all the batters are aggressive players.

The West Indies will win the game but I mean, it's now all about whether or not we can put up a strong performance, like we did against New Zealand in 2011. BT showed lead the way forward.

The real test starts now, let's just pretend that our fourth innings target is 358 (which it basically is because we haven't lost a wicket yet). To knock off 358, we'd really need our openers to get us down to 220-ish because of our ability to collapse at the drop of a hat.

Still a monumental effort required.

And whoever it was that spoke of Cremer - yeah he's a strike bowler. He will sometimes fetch a few but he gets amongst the wickets. And the reason why is because he's always capable of something special. I don't want to single out Mpofu because he's not the only one, but he doesn't really have much variation to surprise the batsman. No incredible out swinger or a 145kmph effort ball. Whereas Cremer in any given over can get one to turn at right angles, or unleash the googly, etc... so he's always a chance. But he's always a chance of dropping it short and being smacked for 6.
