I think he should bat at 7 in both Tests and ODIs as the wicket keeper batsman.
- In the Tests I'd like to see him prove that his First Class record is not indicative of his talent. A half century and a few 30s and 40s would do it for me. In time I think he's the sort of batsman who could score a rearguard century, but for this series a high 30s batting average would make me happy.
- In all likelihood he'll be walking to the crease with the side at 5/40 or something, so I want to see him be the consolidator - the guy that recovers the innings and takes it upon himself to be there at the end. If that means scoring a slow 40 or 50 not out then so be it. An average of around 40 boosted by a not out or two would be a good series effort.
I've probably set the bar quite high, but I like what I see in Chakabva and I think he's capable.

I think I agree with your expectations there. Chakabva is someone who has a very compact technique and although his recent domestic form has been indifferent, I expect big things from him in the future. He could be out version of Dravid a couple of years from now. Setting the bar too high, I know, but I believe he is capable.

He should certainly be at 7. Think maybe he shouldn't be in the ODI lineup.
