The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has announced the schedule for the five-match ODI series between Bangladesh and Zimbabwe to be played in Dhaka and Chittagong. Zimbabwe arrive in Dhaka on October 21 and play two warm-up games on October 23 and 25 in the lead-up to the ODI series which begins on October 27.

The teams play their first three ODIs in Dhaka and the final two in Chittagong before Zimbabwe head back on November 6. All the fixtures are day games.

Zimbabwe will look to make amends for their 4-1 loss at home against the same opposition while Bangladesh will be keen to take their tally of consecutive ODI series wins to four. Two of their three successive ODI series wins have come against Zimbabwe.

Schedule

October 21 - Zimbabwe arrive in Dhaka

October 23 - First warm-up game

October 25 - Second warm-up game

October 27 - First ODI

October 29 - Second ODI

October 31 - Third ODI

November 3 - Fourth ODI

November 5 - Fifth ODI

November 6 - Zimbabwe depart

Hmmm. 4-day match that was on the provisional schedule has disappeared - that's disappointing...

you never know it may be aranged at a later date like it was a couple of years ago, but on the plus side its good to have two warm up games so we can used to the conditions and are not caught out cold.

But on the other hand we have toured Bangladesh nearly every year recently so we know what the conditions will be like.

I wonder if there is enough time in terms of domestic games for some of the returning players to force themselves into the sqaud?
