Probably this. Assuming that it will spin and 2 spinners are necessary. Kensington Oval has featured spin-dominated low scoring games so far this season, although the test pitch may be different.

I think the warm up game will be important to select the bowlers. Meth will swing the Dukes ball, so should not be discounted. Chatara is probably the outsider of the seamers, but may be able to force his way in with a very strong warm up performance.

Waller's contributions on this tour edge him ahead of Maruma.

6 white players would be a surprise . I also think the powers that be will play only one spinner in the first test in Barbados.

I reckon our best chance to get a result or at least make the Windies work hard for a win is to bat first (and hopefully longer than tea on the first day) and then, barring a miraculous show by our pace attack, bowl defensively into whatever rough there is. Price will be the more difficult to get away the longer the match lasts, same goes for Cremer. The second test may present our best chance in that regard.

As overwhelming underdogs, we should look towards small goals for the first test and take it from there:

- not loosing 4 wickets or more before lunch on day one (batting first)

- not getting bowled out for under 200

- not getting bowled out on day one

...

- restricting Windies to under 4 runs per over

- bowl them out in the first innings or not allow them to declare at 500+

Yes. But I'd swap Williams and Waller around.

This team is going to need ten overs from Hami at least.
