ShareI guess that apart from the local players you would expect to be in the squad (Chibhabha, Mahwire, Chinyengetere, Matanga, Chisoro, Mutumbami, Maunze) it will be players that haven't been mention in relation to the other teams such as Dabengwa, Mabuza, Kamungozi etc. Maybe they will add a few returning players; Panyangara, Mwayenga (didn't Alan used to play for them?) etc

It is reported that Emmanuel Dube will be coaching Southern Rocks.
But a bit confused about the Eagles :? . It was revealed that Kevin Curran will be their coach. But this report suggests that they will be coached by Walter Chwaguta and Malcolm Jarvis.

I think I saw Chawaguta listed as 'stand in' coach - Curran's first priority is as natioanl U19 coach, so I doubt he'll be available for Eagles until after the Pakistan series.
Of course, if that theory's correct, then having Chawaguta available to coach Eagles in the runup to the Kenya ODI series should tell us something...

Shareheres to hoping the southern rocks playing roster unleashes far more returning players im alittle disapointed with the relatively small quantity of them we are seing hopefully once english club cricket winds up a few more filter back

Interesting to note a couple of new names.
Darlington Matambanadzo, who is shown by cricinfo to be an Eagles squad member, made his first appearance for many years opening the batting for Rocks in the latest Faithwear match, cricinfo also have a player named as D Anand, a South African who has made 1 first class and 1 limited overs appearances for KwaZulu-Natal Inland within the last couple of days, as being in the Rocks squad.
Freedom Takarusenga and Matthew Williams have both been added by cricinfo as Tuskers squad members.
