sloandog i aren't against giving pple chances but surely if u see early enough that the guy aren't good enough .pliz jus get rid yes maybe they might have misjudged stuart but that don't mean keep playing pple who clearly won't do any better than stuart.

This is what annoys me about some people on this forum. One guy has a bad tour and he's crap !? I reckon Lamb has as much talent in his little finger than Matskinyeri has in his whole body, with both the bat and ball. Give him a chance to prove his worth on some home grown pitches where he has done well domestically. Christ what if he gets a few fifties ?? Would he be classed as a poor cricketer then.....

You need to think about it

That Greg Lamb was ever able to bat well on domestic matches is a damning indictment on standards back home. They may have improved but there is a lot of work still. I remember I was very unimpressed by Lamb's, esp strike rate in all formats of the game.

Then in one FaithWear match he made a 100 at a run a ball and I was like What the...!!

Anyway clearly he is one who can hang around but wont be piercing fileds, mostly because his timing is so bad. No, I think his value at the momet can only lie in his bowling, and only in shorter formats

I watched him a few years back playing for Hampshire. He batted very well and hit four 6's. His technique wasn't fantastic but he looked strong and capable of hitting the boundary. I was very surprised when i saw him in the West Indies as i expected a more fluent player

Greg Lamb at least displays the temperament to bat for long periods. If he could improve his technical skills (not that technique is always everything) he could be a useful addition to the team.
