Who should bat at number seven?

Come on guys, surely you can be more open than that. I don't suppose Mudede is overseeing this poll, so you can be at ease gentlemen. In that light, it would be interesting to know who voted for Elton, especially considering that the general consensus here is that he should be dismissed from captaincy and dropped from the side. Regardless of the fact that it seems Elton will definitely be in the side by virtue of being captain, unless of course he does a Brian Murphy, this is the ZCF's chosen side never mind reality. By the way, do the administrators vote? Perhaps you guys voted for him when you opened this one up.

Meth got my vote on this one, and in that scenario I would like to think that 4-Sibanda,5-Ervine & 6-Taibu should go to those guys respectively. Anyway, my team looks rather different to how this one is shaping up, that's for sure!

Lamb? And someone just voted for him. brmtaylor.com, I think that bowler combinations thing we voted on might have to be clarified.

I voted for Chigumbura. I also think his form is concerning, but by virtue of the fact that he is a proven international performer and has Test match experience (for every player we take into the 1st Test back who doesn't - it's another guy who has the potential of being over-awed by the occasion) I think he's got slightly more upside than say Meth or Lamb right now.
I voted Chigs as a number 3 bowler! He also has the X-factor

I voted for Greg Lamb but to be honest I dont like any of the options for 7. This is our most difficult position to fill I don't think we have anyone who can do the job. If Chigumbura was batting or bowling he would be the logical choice but on his current form I cannot select him so I have gone for Lamb instead.
My All-time Zimbabwe XI
Neil Johnson, Brendan Taylor, Murray Goodwin, Andy Flower (w), David Houghton, Sean Williams, Heath Streak (c), Andy Blignaut, Paul Strang, Eddo Brandes, Blessing Muzarabani

I don't know guys. But to take entrust 20 overs to a guy who pretty much hasn't bowled at all and is limping physically(& mentally) :? .

Of all our potential test picks right now, I cannot think of a player who is as high in ability and self confidence than Meth. He expects to be expected to deliver - with both ball and bat. To him, I suppose the fact that he'll be part of the XI, is a forgone conculsion!

Anyway, to Hughes and Rudolph (& Hilfenhaus) - if ever there were any doubts about your suitably to be fielded in your nation's Test XIs, this sort of invitation is one not to be missed to ensure all these objections are put to rest!
I would like to see M.Waller or Regis Chakabva bat at no 7.

Lamb? Hayi bo! Are you kidding me! Suffice to say, I didnt see the point of voting Meth when he's untried at Zim A level so my vote goes to Chigs for the meantime. Because, lets be honest, what other options do we have

For me its a no brainer Elton all the way, I think what peeps also dont realise is that in the last two games E The Equation seemed to be getting back into some sort of form with the bat.

Lamb here akomana? At number 7 if Lamb were to be considred for that I would rather have Usteya over Lamb as an All rounder.

What would Vusi and Craig be doing so far down the order? I bet you these guys are going to be one of Zim's best middle order batsmen.
