What is the difference between Zim A & Zim XI?

Opening post

Here are my thoughts:

Zim XI= (Our best XI, BUT unofficial international.)

Board XI = ? (selected by the ZC board at their AGM?)

Presidents XI = ? (the presidents favourite players?)

Zim A = ? (Rookies knocking on the door to Int Cricket?)

Somebody please clarify ;)

The best of the 'A' side, plus those in the senior side who need to prove they're worth their place.

"Representative" side for traditional tour openers. Whoever they feel like giving a chance to, opportunity for the wildcards to maybe make a name for themselves against decent opposition.

What they used to call the Board XI. The name will, I'll bet, not appear again for as long as Mugabe is president.
