PCB is inviting Afghanistan and Zimbabwe in October and November for a tri-series to mark the return of cricket to Pakistan...

Wasn't November when they were supposed to be coming to ZImbabwe, but were too busy to? Hmmmm.

I think ZC were the ones who asked Pak to pretend like they could not come because they really couldnt afford to fund the tour (hey they couldnt even afford to pay for their own accommodation) and then we go there to show that its safe to play in Pakistan. They should include a test for ZImbabwe.

It would be madness to tour Pakistan for limited overs stuff only. But then again, it is madness to tour there regardless of the format, isn't it?

Are ZC planning to drive a few more players away from the game?

Sooner them than me. The brits and the aussies advise their people against travel there.

Pakistan is no safer now than it was a few years ago. The mere presence of an Afghani cricket team will certainly be noticed by terrorist types.
