They are pasting us! Are the scots a team of White Pakistanis (expat mercenaries from all over the world akin to UAE)?

I've always said Afghanistan is Bangladesh 2.0...talent, huge fan following, cocky players, brash fans, but bipolar performance and massive underachieving. Eventually though they will come good. Maybe by 2020...

How tight will the group be? Afg and Zim exactly even after the first days with identical 14 run wins!

Yeah, I remember Zim had this group last time and I said ot was the easier of the two. Well, I was wrong. Our Irishman on the forums predicts Netherlands and Scotland going through!

I think both these teams will beat Ireland, the Dutch bowling has been very impressive .....

Well short of 170. Shakib and Mushy are really short of form.

Those two Dutch seamers very impressive .....

Tamin played a really top notch innings in the conditions against a decent attack ......

The Dutch have a strong batting lineup of they get a good start things will be interesting ......

Should have if they batted at peak potemtial. 110 after 15, needed a Riyad plus Tamim to get those extra 17 runs dispersed over those final 30 deliveries. Unlikely but doable. Was poor that a) failed to get 160 and b) failed to keep them under 140. Our NRR is horrible, and there is a possibility all groupmmatches get washed out. So if Ireland beats Oman by 9 runs or more, highly likely, they could be through on NRR. Thats what you get when you have Al amin bowling with that hideous action.

Oman pulls on on the Irish! Whats more the game js so close that if the group is all washed out from here BD qualifies over Oman on NRR. Just imagine of Oman were to qualify... :shock:
