You say Moor had a shocker, but none of the chances he missed were easy. He wasn't great, no, but if you keep for a long innings, there will be the odd error. Look at the recent Bangladesh series- a lot of errors standing up from both keepers.
I would persist with Moor. No doubt he will be aware of the mistakes he made, and will work hard to correct them. If he carries making those mistakes however, then it may be time to look at Chakabva or Mutumbami.

Because of Peter Moor, Zimbabwe is now making some respectable total, if Regis Chakabva or some other useless black talents would have played in place of Moor, Zimbabwe would have been all out within 250.

I feel like we have to stick with PJ. as minnows I don't think we can afford to play a specialist who isn't scoring any runs.Regis is the ideal keeper for tests but he is struggling right now. as for ODIs and t20s I would stick with PJ over Mutumbami.we have to look at our future plans and to me he is the best option until either Murray or most probably Gumbie come along.

Yeah in an ideal world they'd groom Murray, he's a phenomenal keeper and with a couple of first class seasons under his belt he would do well as a batsman at that level. What a great knock from Cremer, you have to wonder what Mumba was thinking? Good from PJ and Tiripano.

PJ should be focusing on his batting at the moment. You really want someone behind the stumps who is already established in the team for his batting. Unless you really want to blood Gumbie or Murray and tell them not to worry about their batting too much. But we can't really sacrifice a batter or bowler for a specialist keeper. We are kind of stuck.

I believe he's going to Uni at some point, so it doesn't look good. If he goes to a UK uni which starts in Sep he would theoretically be available up until then unless he goes early to play some club cricket. I'd like to see him picked for a few FC and List A games but don't see it happening. He's got loads of potential and is already a very accomplished keeper.

ZC make noise about bringing on the u19's, well this is one of the few guys I rate, he's got loads of potential and could easily play at the higher levels. Some of the journeymen cricketers in our FC system who may well be good players need to take a back seat so they can see if guys like this have the goods to leap frog them.

Mutumbami and PJ are absolutely wretched, from a side that has produced Tatenda Taibu. Chakabva is closest to a decent keeper we have right now.

not sure if we have a good keeper anywhere. Regis and Richmond both struggle, Mutizwa has hard hands apparently, Mayavo cant bat at all, nor can a couple of others. Probably Regis is our best...

and it looks they will play Regis next match but in place of who? if waller impresses then who will make way. the one who performs poorly between waller and hamilton will likely be dropped, but if they both perform then there is a headache. then maybe if moor himself doesnt bat well then he might be dropped, hmm its a tough one

I think Chari is the first on the chopping block. If he doesn't improve on his average of 6 he won't play the next Test.

I agree with this. My concern is Regis' last few months with the bat have been very lean. Expecting him to 'find form' in a test match is brave.

True but he really came out of no where to perform well in BD a few years back ....
The thing about Regis is he has a great technique but always gets out playing dumb shots, same with his keeping great tekkers but drops catches and misses stumpings .....
