I think the only person who oversees PJ Moor is Eugene and I feel it's mostly tongue in cheek ......

genuinely surprised to hear you ask this question.

Last week I decided to check PJ Moors cricinfo page and his recent matches stats.

I never really followed the u19. Last U19 I really followed was the one with Panyangara and co. So the first time I really took any notice of him was when he scored the 100 in Triangle. But besides that tonne based on the latest results he certainly didnt deserve to make it to Bang. He may have talent but he hasnt really put in the hard yards. Based on cricinfo Kasuza would go in ahead of him. But I am told there are other overseas stats but have not seen them yet (anyone with a link please supply ). I am not impressed by talent. I know a lot of talented cricketers who amounted to nothing, much hyped but never lived up to their talent. Put in the scores cos cricinfo doesnt have a 'filter by talent' option. So I am still waiting to see, that goes for guys like Luke Jongwe and Neville Madziva. They are for the future these cats. I would rather have Vusi ahead of these guys right now. Infact they need to outscore Vusi in the domestic league now.

Moor has just over 1000 FC runs @26. Often made when seniors not around as well. He needs to be at Franchise level and performing before he makes the national team. There is no way he is in the top 7 or 8 batsmen in the country atm.

I'm assuming AJ Moor is his brother/cousin?? so of course he is going to stick up for him and not write him off on social media.

Like I said PJ is definitely talented, he just needs to score big runs on a consistent basis. If you can't dominate domestically...you'll have no chance internationally.

Yeah I agree. It is of great concern that the only guys that ever score big in the Logan Cup are the national team players. When was the last time we saw a double century by an uncapped player?

Youngsters like Moor, Chari, Kasuza, Saramba, Mamhiyo etc just aren't doing enough to push for national selection atm .....

It's good to see guys like Vusi and Waller scoring domestically last round and they need to continue if they want national selection again ......
