there you have 2 top order bats who you'd expect to hold our current attack of Jarvis, Cremer, Shingi and Chatara and another few who might.

You have a two-pronged attack in Ireland and Ervine (nothing our bats haven't seen though)... though Bligz would be reaching deep to find the muscle memory to take wickets and although I see Watambwa still plays it's hard to see him pushing himself in Belgium

Very weak batting line-up though. Chari, Maruma, Dabengwa aren't going trouble the scorers. If Ballance and Taibu didn't score big I doubt that team would get much further than 150.

I don't understand what everyone's obsession with Chari is either. His First Class record is dismal.

It's as strong a batting line-up as Eugene's was my point. I was doing a eugene by, with tongue in cheek(one has to assume), adding nondescript names. His team would reply on the same people for batting that mine would ... namely; Ballance, Goodwin and Taibu (with a little something, possibly, from Sean). Maruma will give you anything C Ervine does in the middle order (going on the last two FC seasons anyway) against Zim's attack - all who he's seen and made more runs against...

I had not even noticed Chari (like Moor, before the furore) until the "Zim cricketers in Europe" thread :D
