That Academy at Country Club is currently a figment of someone's imagination. It's privately owned by someone who wants nothing to do with ZC unless they put cash on the table. Most of the players mentioned wouldn't cope with his no-nonsense approach and the only workable solution would be if they hired the facilities with cash in advance....once bitten twice shy!

There's only so much net practice one can do anyway, in fact too much is counter productive. What is required is game time.

I'll say it again- RESURRECT CLUB CRICKET. It's the step required between school and franchise. Not 12 crap teams but 6-8 strong ones. Consolidate a strong small base and not dilute it for the supposed benefit of development players, it doesn't work.
