Opening post

Just saw on cricinfo's tweets down the side of the page that Niall O'Brien has tweeted that "Craig Irvine" (sic) wants to play for Ireland. It says it all.

Cricket Europe has also reported that he has decided not to play for Zim again.

strange decision, he wont qualify utill 2017 when he will be nearly 32, dont really see the logic!

see it more as not wanting to play for EIRE, bu to get out of playing for zim.

::cough:: Ireland cricket team != Eire. Joint team for Eire (Irish Republic) and Northern Ireland. We're very picky about such things in this part of the world. :)
