Why would England do anything to help Zimbabwe ???? ..... they wont tour Zimbabwe or let Zimbabwe tour there, they made Zimbabwe pullout of the T20 WC there a few years back and will probably do the same next time they host the WC ......

Fair enough there aren't many Zimbo's good enough to play for England but I still couldn't see England helping Zimbabwe in any way ......

The one mistake that people always make is to think that an ex-International player would make a good administrator. What you need is a guy that can run a big corporation and keep a set of books and keep his fingers out the till. 99% of ex players don't have a clue about running anything. They should be in the system, but not holding the reins. The one thing I'm telling you guys is that this racial issue is practically insurmountable, and it will never end. It's years of truths, half truths and lies and feelings run deep on both sides. It will only be resolved when we are considered equal in society.

Only to be magnanimous. I'm not saying it is at all likely - just that of all the calls to help Zim cricket from around the world through the ICC etc, this plan would be the cheapest and least invasive.

yeah this maybe true but nothing will ever be done ......

everyone is having a cry now because KJ has gone but it's only ex players who are bringing it up ...

maybe if the BCCI were making noise about it then somthing maybe done .....

The fact is the guys here on the forum are probably 95% of the population who actually care about Zimbabwean cricket so I cant ever see anyone helping out .....

As long as Zimbabwe survive and vote with India India is happy and the guys doing the voteing for Zimbabwe only care about themselves so I cant see change in the near future .....

England will never help Zimbabwe as long as Zimbabwe vote against them again I cant ever see this changing ....

Things will get better when the World Cup comes around because of the money coming in, a few players may even return to cash in but it will only be a charade and as the money runs out things will return to normal ......

The real sad story is still ahead when it comes time for England to host the World Cup and refuse to allow Zimbabwe to enter the Country, the ZC board will be offered compensation for not putting up a stand and the fat cats running the show will gladley accept the cash pocket most it and then tell the players they're not entitled to any of it because they never actually played, for any decent players left this will be the final kick and the guts and they will all leave for good this in turn will spell the end of Test Status and there fore the final death knell .....

I've supported Zimbabwe cricket for a long time and will always support them but after all these years of heartbreak and disappointment i cant see it going any other way ......
