U19 World Cup Squad

I have a big question mark over Nel. I've watched him and he's a nice organized opener and a nice guy, but the fact is he lives in SA, has a South African accent, his family live there and when he is done at the WC he will never come back here. Ever!!! Nick Welch is better than him right now, his form shows it and his stats prove it, (It's not by much, Nel is useful and may well make some runs) and actually lives and goes to school in Harare. Tell me something does not stink big time!!

Byrom is technically very good but just doesn't score quickly enough. He needs to back himself to score in front of square.

Jason Murray, Ives and Evans should have at least been invited to the trials but that's way too many white people at a single gathering.

According to my source the trial was a sham and the side was chosen long ago.

I keep reading and hearing disturbing information about the age criteria theoretically disqualifying 5 of our players. The only one we would sorely miss is Burl (who should be captain, it was offered to him and then mysteriously rescinded). The other guys have had enough chances and keep failing, it's called flogging a very dead horse.
