Will he accept a central contract ??

Sean Williams is certainly our most naturally talented batsman, plus he is fairly consistent by Zmbabwean standards. When victory is in sight he rarely fails, he is very good at guiding us home, much like Michael Bevan or Michael Hussey did for Australia. If Sean Williams left we would be in a bit of a hole as players like Timycen Maruma or Malcolm Waller are too nervy to be counted on consistently. Craig Ervine was already a big loss to our middle order, losing Williams would be a huge blow.

He is so good that it is scary :(

The only problem with Sean performing so well is that like KJ he will now be getting the attention of overseas clubs, franchises and there i say Countys ..... His performances since returning have been streaks above anything anyone else in the team has come up with so like KJ in our bowling attack he is standing out like a sore thumb .....

Im hopeing he gets picked up in the BPL so he gets a good pay day added with a central contract and newly agreed match fees so he is making enough money to support his family and so he doesn't feel the need to take off put some bread on the table ...

I would also think that a player like Sean would have been able to find a club in England during the English summer than another in Australia in the Aussie summer so the fact he is still around must give us some hope he will stay ....

Also even though I dont know Sean he looks like the type of guy who wants to ' climb some mountains ' and one mountain he hasn't reached the top of is Test cricket , so I reckon he wants to stick around and score a couple of tons in the whites slacks ....

One would hope that breaking into the T20 leagues may lead to more Zimbabweans remaining loyal to the national side as they will be getting paid from elsewhere, unless it is the BPL who seem to use the bookkeepers as ZC.
