Obviously the extra 6 players are made up of ones who are Harare based, glad to see 3 Overseas players helping to raise the standard (i include Nathan Waller in that).

In terms of winning you have to back team C, even though that is not the main issue.

So, one overseas player and one Tuskers player per team. That's how bad Tuskers have become in terms of quality. Why not pick Keegan Meth (even if it is as an overseas professional) if he is around?

Team C definitely the favorites, and Team B heavily dependent on Elton coming good with the bat. Good to see the 3rd Masakadza in the mix. Let us see how the sla bowler goes...

Its the 30 man squad plus a few Harare based players which makes sense, the Tuskers players went back to Bulawayo on Tuesday.

Meth is still not fully fit, has been getting married in Canada and only got back two weeks ago...

Ah, that explains it. Even then, probably only Chari and Mamhiyo would have made the cut? And Dabengwa may be.

I assume Tafadzwa Mufudza is the same player who lit up the back end of last season for Mountaineers under ht eguise of Tapiwa Mufudza?

For months we can't pay our players, then we play a glorified trials series and suddenly there's money for overseas pros? Any explanations for this (were they already in Zim?, coaching in schools?, on holiday?, are there secret sponsors?). Anyone got any info on this?

Both played for the Mountaineers and i imagine were due to start playing in the new year, dont know how they are getting paid but at least they will raise the standard.
