Malcolm Waller certain starter ?

Opening post

After watching him bowl in the tri series and be very successful has Malcolm solidified a position in the ODI team due to his bowling ?? He has been terrible with bat in hand but with no other middle order contenders atm I think his bowling means he now has cemented his place for time being .....

All though I wouldn't be surprised if he is banned from bowling soon for a suspect action .......

Well, he's ugly in whatever he does isn't he? I see no reason why he wouldn't be reported if Utseya was reported. May be it might happen in the Bangla series if he is picked and plays. His batting is looking as woeful as it has even been, so not sure if he has cemented his place. When Mutumbami is fit again, he should come in at 7 for Waller.

By the way what are the steps ZC is taking to get Utseya tested and cleared quickly enough for the Bangla tour? There is a time frame within which one needs to undergo the tests once reported, if I'm correct. We can't afford to lose Utseya in his current form for the Bangla tour.

Not a starter but he would be in my squad to both Bangladesh and the World Cup

I feel it's a combination of his bowling and the fact there aren't many options to fill middle order spots that makes me think he is an auto selection .....

Plus once upon a time he could swing the bat ......
he should bat at 7 as a bowling allrounder

The Bundu must be concerned as i have a feeling that he may have to fight for his place considering the following pure allrounders and pure batters

Mire & Kasteni are in the Northern Territory side that is playing United Arab Emirates. Kasteni has failed in both matches so far.
