Dissappointing collapse here...from 195-1 we should got 400 at least. Instead 258 all out. And Sibanda gets fiver??!! Didn't even know he bowls!!!

At any rate, good thing this tour was close to real one to approximate conditions. The original schedule would have seen almost all of play washed out due to monsoons. Almost the entire first day was washed out at the tail end of the rainy season.

Erm...Vusi is our new killer bowler?! I've never seen him bowl. Has anyone ever seen him bowl?

He used to bowl a bit of medium pace I think.

They gave us a target of 299 over 70 overs or so. Pretty tough. But we must draw this if we have any ability in our batting line up. I think its curtains for the Verm. He should have gotten a couple of 50s at least to push for his case. Big innings for Tino. And for Regis. I am desperately hoping they come good.

Looks like end of the road for Regis too.

Even as Tino throws it away, Chari has particularly done decently. 4 solid knocks without being spectacular. Does this mean he is handling the spin better? Looks like a good shout for the main tour now. Wellington getting to bat ahead of Gumbi and other all rounders is clear indication of his ability to occupy the crease. Not a bad effort in the context, batting for 45 minutes while the more celebrated ones struggled.

Wellington and Chari have been the ones who have put a case forward, Tino and to a lesser extent Vermeulen have lost ground along with Jongwe

Jongwe has lost the plot completely. An Angelo Mathews hopeful must do way better than this when opportunities are at your doorstep. Highly impressive now from Chari, twice running out of partners and hence getting out. But a 2-0 in the A series is ugly - given that we had some big names in the squad.

We had a lot more test caps in our squad. In fact Shahadat has more test wickets than your entire squad has caps! In that light BD just scrapped by.
