I was just sitting here thinking why would you pick only one off-spinner (among four specialist spinners in the squad) against BD's army of left-handers? That Waller was our best spinner in the last Test was not such a huge surprise after all ... and I have no idea why Nyumbu hasn't been given another chance.
Of course the cupboard at home is pretty empty, as most young spinners coming through are bowling left-arm orthodox or leggies, and for a brief moment it seemed as if we were covered in that area with Utseya and Nyumbu, but as soon as Utseya was reported, at least one young off-spinner should have gone on the A Tour.
Tapiwa Mufudza comes to mind as a good prospect. Is there anyone else out there?

Yep, Greg Lamb came out of retirement a tad to late. Two months earlier and he could have gone on the A tour.

Kamungozi should be persisted with, he took wickets on the A tour so he can obviously bowl. Chikomba who plays for the Mountaineers is potentially another. But Zim cricket needs to employ a decent spin coach so that these players can improve.

I don't think it is that big a drama compared to other issues. Williams continues to bowl and improve. Combine his finger spin with Mushangwe as the leggie and we have a decent set up to go forward,
