I agree what SteveM says, some of our players are not up to scratch, i've said it myself in previous posts, hence i agree with you.

BUT(a big butt) i disagree with the public way he has assassinated them-NEVER in my professional sporting life have i come across such asinine, ill thought out comments from a National Coach.

SM can call a spade a spade in private, coach to player chats-that's how professionals do it. To infer i hate SM and no matter what he says or does, itake umbrage, is also insulting since i back SM in most decisions he makes- but i'm not a yes sir type of chap and when he(SM) or any other does or behaves in a way that is wrong ,i'll chirp.

For me there is no agree or disagree or have "a different opinion" on this issue- simply put behaviour like this from a National Coach(particular of a Test Nation that the world looks up to)is unacceptable and is wrong. Just as walking up to someone and sticking a knife in their eyeball is wrong- there is no right about it!!There is no "oh i have a different opinion"

This is not a difference of opinion, it's simply my opinion is right and yours wrong, and 99/100 people would agree with that. :D

Moving on.

Hammy at present is not a world class player, but if he had the right management- say he was in a different country that provides resources for the players and not for the Board meetings :D

Then i am 100% certain Hammy could be a world class player- he has

1)the skill

2)the psych

the rest can be improved on.

That goes for a few other guys but the harsh reality is even better players have left and the ones coming through are rightly being pushed to UK,Oz,SA for bursaries and Moms and Dads are looking out for their kids' entire future, not just a flash in Zim Cricket where quite simply Nationalism/Patriotism doesn't put bread on the table.

It's not a quick fix and people with real desire and drive are needed to fix it.
