The explanation for the malice, in this instance, is not explained with stupidity though, so this theory in itself is ironic. There's factual agreement that there was a no ball, and the lbw was arguably the worst decision I've ever seen on a cricket pitch.

It was a stupid decision, but I doubt the ICC pressured the umpire into giving those decisions. The umpires made mistakes. You can blame the ICC for not having DRS and rain days though.
