Opening post

95 for 1 in 17.3 overs to 128 all out in 30.0 overs :(

Guess I shouldn't really be surprised

😂

I highly doubt that's gonna happen. Soumya Sarkar is more of a part-time seamer than an allrounder.

Yeah that's why i said it we have made a good start against the front liners so the part timers will most likely kill us ....

Well, we didn't last long enough for him to even get a bowl.

What a joke enough is enough SM and the entire selection panel should be gone .....

Bring in Campbell as head selector and we desperately need an experienced overseas coach, Zimbabwe have always performed better with an experienced coach .....

Gary Brent would also be a good addition to our bowling stock and Pricey to help our spinners ....

None of this will happen though ......

We also need to get team selection right we don't have many quality players to choose from so I don't see how we never get it right, I don't mind trying guys but we have seen Maruma, Chari and Madziva they are all clearly short if international quality atm so send them back to franchise cricket and let them improve before giving them another chance .....

Well this is embarrassing.

A few things. You have a man in your squad who averages 30+ in ODI's (Ervine) who hasn't even played a game. Baring in mind that our middle order has pretty much failed game in game out, one of whom is Maruma who has contributed nothing to this series.

We've had three wicket keepers in this series. How is that going to settle the side, and more importantly, how is that going to help the wicket keepers settle into their roles? It's just so so poor from Mangongo. Makoni has to go.

Ah I have so many bad points but I'm depressing myself here so I'm going to shut up. The bottom line is that these two p***ks sat on that bench with their arms crossed and frowns on their faces need to leave, before the world cup. Mangongo has brought nothing to the table and Makoni just looks like he's in it for the ride (the money).

What a disaster of a tour.

Moormania perhaps clouded our judgment. His stats are no better than Chari's or Maruma's and his performances reflected that. Batted out of position or not, all he needed to do was get a single so Chakabva could have a swing. Lack of experience?

Not many positives to come out of this ODI series. Taylor is the leading run scorer in the ODIs? Kamungozi defied all expectations and wasn't hopeless? Panyangara bowled well.

What a lousy cricket series.

We need to invite Pakistan for a tour pronto, for a confidence booster...

Seamers bowling well here... If only the batsmen had at least tried giving a fight and batting out the remaining overs after the collapse, things would have been much different at this stage.

Just been humiliated by the bowling of a team with our former bowling coach.

Invite team with our former batting coach in strong batting form to play us in series.

Im thinking you going for the whole, if they see how poor we are they may feel sorry for us and come back?

Pakistan are our bunnies. We may have lost to Bangladesh, but we'll never lose to Pakistan!

Burlmania is Zimbabwe's new great white hope, pardon the pun ;)

We just seem to be getting worse and worse, while the associates are improving rapidly. I wouldn't be surprised if we lose to both Ireland and UAE in the World Cup.

Meanwhile, UAE giving Afghanistan a torrid time in the third match too... (already 2-0 up in the series)

I think it's not just the poor administration, but also the players. Most of them often seem too low in confidence.

They give up easily and very rarely put up a fight (the reason for the famous Zimbabwean collapse), like gifting a debutant a hattrick.

I'm sure guys like Taijul and Arafat Sunny have to work harder to pick wickets against domestic teams.

I also didn't like some of Mangongo's very negative tactics in the test matches.

The only positives in this tour have been Kamungozi's bowling, Chakabva, Panyangara and to some extent Raza, Chatara, Masakadza and Mire.
