Plus I would guess that at least 4 players in the u18 side will make the u19's and they are going on tour in mid December so I'm not sure how that will work? I've also heard that Chawaguta is the coach for both teams? You're right that they will get barbequed by the franchise teams. Bowlers will get put to the sword, but will learn fast as there are some good prospects. Batters will really struggle, I can't think of more than 3 that will cope at that level. It would be a decent idea if they started now, but they will leave it to the last minute and it will be a mess.

There have been a few smart moves from ZC lately like Atours, warm up games, spin camps etc or is this all Mongongo's doing ??


:D No this is all instructions from ICC-Atours,Africa sixes, reducing Franchises etc etc.

The spin camps, warm up games and acclimatizing in Triangle, Mangongos doing.

Why introduce u19's to the fray when ZC have cut franchise players wages from 40-60% is just absurd. Whilst players and essential technical team have been cut, The Admin remain the same and in fact have recruited more people to their top heavynobodydoesanythingworththewagetheyarepaid!!

Thank goodness they haven't tried introducing franchise B sides...yet.

HSC ground is being scarrified as it has had a lot of wear and tear.....there may also be a home international or two before the world cup.

Wasn't it scarrified a few months ago, or did they just put the tobacco scrap on top of the grass? I can't remember.
