A 179-run partnership by centurions Taylor and Raza. The later has hit two tons in a row and now leading runscorer. Matsi who is batting now is second highest rungetter and he and Hamilton leading the chase now.

The mysterious arms of Prosper strikes and Matsi is back to pavillion. Hamilton solid though.

Eagles won by 1 run based on DL method! What a cruel anticlimax to possibly one of the best List A matches in recent times from the batting point of view :(

Indeed a great match and fair result as the 179 run p'ship was too hot to handle for Mountees :D Waited anxiously for Hami's ton but it was not to be.

Its worrying that Chigumbura can only squeeze out one over for 6 runs 4 of them being wides whilst Sibanda is bowling a full quarter. I really wonder if Sibanda is looking to reinvent himself. Utseya exposed today largely at the hands of H. Masakadza canon fodder perhaps. Time will tell.

Tell you who should reinvent himself. Shingi. If he can focus on his batting and becomes a batsman who bowls some useful stuff, he will break into the team again. We have so few batsmen knocking on the doors. First step would be to bat at 6 for Mountaineers. He is capable of that for sure. If he can become a bowler from being a footballer, becoming a better batsman is no big deal! Now that his bowling is going haywire, he has no choice if he wants to remain on the scene. Definitely looks more composed than many other so called batsmen on the scene.
