Uff, the margin of defeat turned out much smaller than I anticipated when I left my computer with Pakistan headed for 400. Kudos to Elton, well played Hami, but what I saw of the bowling ...
About C. Ervine: AC said something like "he's been under the weather", had "a flu" and missed the T20s because of that while we were still bowling. No wonder he wasn't physically capable of turning out to bat after four hours in the stifling heat.

Probably reflects the pitch more than anything. South Africa would have run up 500 most likely.
