I had another look, and you retained him before the start of the draft. That might be why he isn't in the list.

ShareMerry new year to all my new ZCF friends. You all want a story to brighten this new year? Rhinos booted from the offices for failure to pay KKSC... Lolllllz. I digress however.
Apologies, I didn't realise it was my turn now. I already have 16 guys on the Rhino books, is there a limit to how many we can have registered for us? By my calculations, we have a couple of grand left to spend but if there is a limit then I'll keep those $$ and slip it into my back pocket... Next round's on me...

Given it looks like the Rocks will go, I thought it might be an interesting exercise to see how strong and evenly balanced the domestic sides would be if a "draft" was held. Hopefully there is some interest in doing this?
I need 4 people to volunteer to be the head of a franchise. Or 4 groups if people would like to team up?
The first 4 people to reply to this topic can choose their franchise, and as franchise owner have the final call over who gets selected to their team :)
Any player who has played in the Logan Cup this season is eligible. Once our 4 franchise owners have put themselves forward, we'll have 15 rounds (so each team will end up with 15 players). The order franchises pick will be whatever order the 4 owners replied to this topic (incentive for getting in fast ;) )
There are 90+ players in the draft, but only 60 will be selected.
RULES
1. Each franchise has a maximum budget of $30,000 to spend in any way they want (star players are worth $10,000, international players $3,000, county imports are $2,500, domestic players are $500).
2. Each franchise must fill their 15 player squad
3. Each franchise has ONE veto over one of their own veterans, so whoever selected the veteran originally has to select another player and whoever made the veto must select the veteran with their next draft pick
A veteran being someone who has not represented another team in the Logan Cup in the last 10 years. For example, John Nyumbu (debuted for Matebeleland on April 2, 2004 and hasn't represented any other team).
The players:

I'll be updating that post after each draft pick.

No, I won't, as long as you don't intend to separate the Masakadzas. I'll stay on the sidelines as a fan ... or can I be the benevolent sponsor who donates 500 fictitious dollars to the Mountaineers' cause on the condition that it's spent on Sauramba's development as a wicket keeper? :D
