Our ODI team is looking good if both Taylor and Jarvis return:

1. Solomon Mire

2. Hamilton Masakadza

3. Craig Ervine

4. Brendan Taylor

5. Sean Williams

6. Sikandar Raza

7. Malcolm Waller

8. Graeme Cremer

9. Kyle Jarvis

10. Tendai Chatara

11. Carl Mumba

PJ Moor can focus solely on his batting, Musakanda and Burl are the next ones up in the middle order, Shingi and Ngarava next bowlers up. Good times!

Can Zimbos play that many whites in a lineup?

Welcome back, Taylor! Looks like this news is about immediate release from his Notts contract. Hope ZC finalizes things and has the good news to share from their end soon.
I think ZC are doing well under Faisal Hasnain

Did he agree to keep wicket in ODIs & T20s?

Was he promised that he won't be forced to open the batting in FC like Notts did to him?

How much will he be paid?

How long is his contract?

Who offered it to him? The Pakistani? Tibbly?

You don't get it do you?

There is no way this can be sustained without noise about "quotas" again. It's unavoidable, particularly when youire being bulllied by IRE, SCO, NED and AFG.

Taylor was foolish. He shoul dhave waited until ZIM qualified for the CWC. Imagine what will happen if ZIM do fail to qualify with that line up. The embarassment will be so bad that some guys might actually retire.

Quotas? Are you suggesting lesser players should be picked instead due to the color of their skin and not actually their skill to I dunno actually play the game? If thats the case, you can definitely count me in the "i hope ZIM loses every game they play" camp.

With outsiders like Hasnain in charge, hopefully, only merit based decisions will be made.

The important thing should be runs, wickets, and victories...not melanocytes.

Our best batsman by a country mile returns and Hhm is still negative 😂 😂 😂

Go away 😂 😂

For me if I'm the coach I want BRMT batting @3 in all formats. He's the best batsman with the best technique but I'd have him at 3 and Ervine at 4

You think people will be upset with the black quota of 4? I guess we could get Anthony Ireland back in place of Mumba to bring the quota down to 3. Is 1 enough for the Asian quota? Does Cremer having a mixed-race wife make him less white? Does Brendan Taylor count as white if he opens? A lot to consider here!

he's hopeless away from home in Tests and generally - FACT

Four massive hundreds on fast bouncy tracks and a raging turner. Maybe not as consistent abroad as he is at Fortress Harare, but these knocks show he's world class and is still our third ever greatest batter, probably our best ever in ODI's. Four big hundreds your Maruma, Matsikinyeri or Chari could only dream of scoring.

The only reason one might conclude BRMT is weak away from home is because his record in Zimbabwe is so outstanding. Taylor strengthens our batting, and for that reason alone he should be welcomed back. His return may not guarantee CWC qualification, but it surely gives us a better chance. All of pariah's mind games and conspiracies are irrelevant, the players want to win, the fans want to win, we want to win - Taylor improves our odds of winning.

You know what the one good thing about Taylors vacay...he only missed 5 Test matches. That is just one series!
