SL beat the real India at the Champions Trophy. This one was an Indian A team.


That was by no means India A. It was just India minus Kohli. All others were first team folks if you consider the previous NZ and Aus series. I was rooting for the Lankans to help Zimbabwe out of that 35 all out ignominy. At 27/7 there was genuine chance but Dhoni got two umpire calls his way unfortunately.

By the way, Zim are back into top 10 after a fairly long hiatus thanks to the series defeat of Afghanistan.

The bottom 3 spots are now very tight! Every series can possibly cause a shift for multiple teams.

Zim and Afg are on exactly equal points even with all decimal points! That is highly rare. By comparison in the Test table BD and WI are equal, but the Windies are ahead on decimal points 72.4 to 71.8.
