Exactly what I said ...runrate keeps on creeping and then u have Rashid in the slog overs when u need over 10 an over ..230 is what we will be making this series .so it's the bowlers who will have to win for us

Zimbabwe simply don't believe. They go into a shell way too early, even in THAT game against UAE, they needed 24 from 18 with Willo and Ervine at the crease for a WC berth I guess and still lost. *sorry for bringing up tht game again*
Bangladesh were 40 odd for 6 chasing some 240+ against this very Afghanistan side and they still believed they can win, and won. Afghanistan are not a world no. 1 side, you should attack them, build partnerships, they will get nervous and frustrated very easily because they are NOT a big side.

Yeah but Jongwe's bowling is equal in quality on top of being a poorer batter. Jongwe is not even half as good as Elton in terms of a seam bowling allrounder.

The year is 2022, not 2017. You are more clueless than I thought if you think Tiripano 2022 is good enough to even be in a Vigne Cup team as a bowler, let alone an international team 😂
He's been great over the years and I used to be a huge fan but come on, there are probably two dozen more threatening bowlers than him in Zimbabwe nowadays.
If his batting is so good then he needs to be batting much higher than number 8. But a career average of 17 suggests he's not good enough to do that either.
Oh and Jongwe has a better ODI bowling record than Tiripano even in his heyday

A 50% strike rate in a weak team is fine if you can change gear, but still acceptable if you see off the first 15 overs.

We are finished guys. I'm sorry to say it but I see it clearly now. At every level. The board , coaches and players. All of them. Useless bunch. They don't deserve the money they are on. All of them. It's only a matter of time now.
I was at the game live today for a few hours. The fans are there but there are disgruntled. The energy is extremely negative when you actually get to talking and hearing what people are saying. Yes they will celebrate a boundary or a good shot but everybody is asking the question now..
How did we get here?
These guys are not going to last long. Mark my words. Everybody can see clear as day who the problem is now.
