Opening post

We squandered greatest opportunity in the first game while bowling first and now we are batting ..seems like it's only going to get worse from here

This is so frustrating.

Shumba should be batting up the order, I think this position low down is not quite suiting his game and he has generally done well when he has come in to bat early.

Madhevere to open, Shumba at 4, Chakabva at 6

Madhevere needed 38 and Burl needed 45 runs to reach 1000 international runs for Zim across formats. Something that is achievable in a single match easily. I wonder if they can reach that even at the end of this ODI series the way we are going...

Shuffling those chairs again. Won't make a jot of difference.

Don't know why you have to keep trying to find space for Reggie either. Worst case pick another batsman, anyone, and play a keeper that bats at 11, it's that bad.

The one guy they need to play up the order is Burl. Hasn't done much but technically he's pretty good.

Keep calm. Even these guys have to change things. We need a couple more clubbings and they'll have to do something. Maybe a beating by USA is what it will take but at some point something has to be done. Unfortunately a win against USA will solidify everyone's spot for 2 more years. There's some clueless guys in charge.

I'm probably 1 or 2 games away from leaving.

Even in 2007 I had some players who I followed religiously. Price returned, cremer was getting into the LO sides and from 2009-2012 there was a brief up level.

But this is pure s**t.

Putting Burl as a policeman down the order to limit the embarrassment is embarrassing. He surely has to bat 4 or 5. They're giving guys opportunities at his expense.

Burl has at least crossed this milestone. 35th to get to 1000 international runs for Zim.

It takes a toll on your health ..i have aged 8 years in the last 3 years watching zimbabwe
